Pinterest Inspiration VS. Final Product

Final Product: Exterior

For the exterior of this home, our clients used the picture on the left for inspiration on what they were wanting. A white exterior with board and batten siding, cedar posts, and shed roof accents above black vinyl windows. We worked with our trade partners to find the exact materials to incorporate!

Final Product: Kitchen

Our client’s inspiration for the kitchen included white shaker cabinets to the ceiling, white subway tile used for the backsplash, a hood cover with a wooden accent, floating shelves, and oil rubbed bronze hardware. Our client chose to paint the island black to create a pop of color and asked us to replicate the dog feeding station they found on Pinterest! They were able to find pictures of light fixtures they liked and showed them to the team at Fort Worth Lighting to find the pendants hanging above the island. We were also able to recreate the hidden storage room they found on Pinterest by creating a custom pantry disguised as cabinets.

On of the best comparisons in the entire house is this master bathroom. After looking through their Pinterest Board for inspiration, we knew we needed a frameless shower door, subway tile, and a pop of color on the floor. We installed a freestanding tub and incorporated wood for the surround instead of tile and hung a chandelier above the tub. For the vanities, our client’s selected a quartz countertop with oil rubbed bronze hardware, and a shiplap accent wall, and we were able to find the exact mirror used in the picture from Pinterest!

Pinterest Inspiration: Living Room

Final Product: Living Room

Our client’s inspiration for their living room consisted of large windows to let in natural light, custom built-ins framing their fireplace and wooden accents with lots of beams.

For the laundry room, we were able to use their Pinterest pictures to give us a direct vision of what they were wanting. We built a mud bench that gives the family a place to put their shoes and hang their jackets when they get home. Additionally, we installed a custom frosted door for the laundry room and used the patterned tile from their inspiration!
